As we age, we shrink, sag, and wrinkle. The speed of aging is different for everyone and influenced by genetics, sun exposure, and other factors. For many patients, loose neck skin, excessive neck fullness, loss of neck contour, and neck banding are aging changes that become more apparent over time. When these changes start to bother you, it may be time to consider a Neck Lift Surgery. At the time of your consultation, Dr. Li will analyze your face and neck in detail and discuss whether Neck Lift Surgery is a good option for you.
Neck lift Surgery usually involves incisions hidden underneath your chin and around your ears and back hairline. Surgery is performed in the fatty and muscular layers of your neck, to remove excess fat, tighten and re-suspend the neck muscles, and re-establish your neck (cervicomental) angle. For a more complete rejuvenation, Neck Lift Surgery is often combined with Facelift Surgery to also reduce jowling, improve the jawline, and blend a rejuvenated neck with a rejuvenated face.
