FACIAL IMPLANTS

Space

Whether to accentuate certain facial features or add volume to deficient areas, facial implant surgery offers an alternative to facial fat grafting or fillers for structural augmentation of your face.  While chin implants are the well-known implants, there are other implant options, such as temple, nose, cheek, and jawline angle implants.  At the time of your consultation, Dr. Li will analyze your face in detail and discuss whether Facial Implant Surgery is a good option for you.

For patients with a smaller chin, chin implants add balance to the face by matching the chin to the nose.  For patients with hollowed temples, temple implants can restore youthful volume.  Nose implants can be used to add height to your nose.  Cheek implants can restore cheek volume loss.  Lastly, jawline angle implants can increase the definition, height, and/or width of your jaw angle.  Small incisions in hidden areas, sometimes inside the mouth, are used to place the facial implants.  Implants can also be carved or custom-designed with 3D imaging for best match.
